Works with any Alaska Range external frame pack and most freighter frames by other manufacturers . Attaches to the cross bar on top of the frame to add cubes.
Best used to carry lighter objects (sleeping bags, coats, rain gear, etc.) while heavier objects are secured in the main bag for better balance and stability. May also be used with a bare frame and harness system for serious meat packing.
